BOB Development Co. developed a MS Access database to allow personnel to: request a test, allocate and approve resources, document procedures executed, create test reports, manage inventory, and summarize status of multiple, concurrent tests. Our efforts resulted in: 150 users across five GM Powertrain plants could simultaneously manage and perform testing functions in a paper-less system The time required to approve requested tests and allocate resources was cut in half Requests for tests can be entered by suppliers via the web
